Arch Adams, President & CEO - Fun Spot Trampolines 

Arch Adams: Arch has been in the trampoline business his whole life starting at the age of one when his father Andy Adams made Fun Spot's first backyard trampoline. For years Fun Spot was the largest trampoline dealer both, domestic and international, but finally, when Arch took over the family business, he saw a unique opportunity in the trampoline park sector. At its inception, Arch was the only manufacturer to help start the trampoline park industry association, and was the only manufacturer to sit on the ASTM board to establish the industry safety standards that we still meet and exceed today. He has continued to pioneer innovation now manufacturing Hollywood style ninja courses, interactive climbing walls, ropes courses, and still today continues to provide assistance to establishing safe practices abroad in the U.K. and future European countries implementing their safety standards. To date, we have equipped over 500 trampoline parks with our materials worldwide, over 220 of which are full turnkey installations.


Rudie D. Baldwin, Partner - Amaro | Baldwin


Rudie D. Baldwin is a founding partner of Amaro Baldwin LLP.  He represents clients in the amusement, entertainment and action-sport industries, including Six Flags Magic Mountain, Raging Waters, Boomers, SpeedZone, Big Bear Snow Play, Big Air Trampolines, and Flow Snowboards. In his spare time Mr. Baldwin is an avid surfer and musician.  He has played notable venues such as the House of Blues, the Viper Room and the Key Club.  His band was named one of the “Hot 100 Unsigned Live Bands of 2014” in Music Connection Magazine. 


Robert Bice - iTrampoline Hawaii


Dr. Robert Bice is part owner of iTrampoline Hawaii opened in 2012. Robert has a background in electronic engineering having spent years in the telephony industry including a stint at Bell Labs. He finished his MBA and Doctorate in Education in Hawaii having specialized in risk management. Robert is a certified project management professional, Asian Pacific management professional, with certificates in professional coaching and contract negotiations. He also enjoys time as a certified instructor for the Stephen Covey organization as well as the Dale Carnegie effective speaking classes. Since 2013 Robert has participated in the IATP and ASTM organizations in risk management, most recently having served as chair of the insurance committee and current IATP board member.


Sheryl Bindelglass, CEO - SherylGolf

Sheryl is known as the ‘marketing/operations pro,’ with more than 25 years’ experience working with small to large organizations and franchises. Peter Brown, Managing Director - Freedome Park


Peter serves on the IATP Board and as the IATP UK Sub-Committee Chair. He lead the charge on the design and implementation of a British Standard as the technical author, working to ensure that parks in the UK operate at optimally safe levels. He joined the Sky Zone team in 2016 as Managing Director of the UK and European brand Freedome Parks.


Robert Bruck, CEO & Co-Founder - Sweet Amandas 


Robert co-founded Sweet Amanda's in 2012 with a vision to utilize and leverage the emerging technologies in the self-service food industry.  Having over 30 years experience in the vending machine industry and founding and operating a national candy wholesale operation for nearly 20 years, Robert’s knowledge of the candy vending space is unmatched.

Paul Cooper, President & Co-Founder - Central Parks Management LLC


Paul’s 20-year career in the hospitality industry has included a variety of senior-level roles with both public and private hotel firms. Paul’s roots are grounded in hotel operations; a career that began as a bellman and valet for a resort property during his college years to fund his education. Operating and overseeing hotels for industry icon Kemmons Wilson, founder of Holiday Inn Worldwide, followed post-graduation. Growing hotel portfolios through acquisitions, franchising and securing management contracts have been Paul’s focus for the majority of his career.


As the head of Franchise Development of the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast Regions for US Franchise Systems and the Hawthorn Suites brand, Paul worked with hotel legend Mike Leven, now COO of the Las Vegas Sands Company, former CEO of Holiday Inn Worldwide and the former CEO of Days Inn Hotels, as well as a roster of some of today’s top franchise industry execs.  During Paul’s years with USFS, he was one of eight franchise development directors, which grew the Hawthorn Suites brand from 18 hotels to a record, 225 franchised locations, in a short four-year span.

Dan Eberhardt, Chief Operating Officer & Co-Founder - Cenral Parks Management LLC

Dan Eberhardt is an established small business entrepreneur with over 25 years of growing and turning around small businesses within the Trampoline Park, Food & Beverage, and Airport Concessions Industries. Certification as a minority disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE), Dan worked with and was a group leader of, minority-owned businesses working with fellow airport business owners as well as local and state government. Community involvement is important to Dan. He has always been involved in youth sports and organizations that help our young people develop and gain confidence.

Doug Flora, Director of Program Sales & Development - Haas & Wilkerson


Mr. Flora currently serves as the Director of Program Sales & Development. Mr. Flora focuses primarily on sales management, strategic development and sales growth of Haas & Wilkerson’s Program division which is comprised of numerous family entertainment verticals. In his 20 years with Haas & Wilkerson, Mr. Flora has cultivated advanced expertise and knowledge and has gained recognition as a leader in insurance and risk management for the family entertainment industry. Mark Goldman, Chief Operating Officer - Jumpstreet


Mark has served as the Chief Operating Officer of Jumpstreet since 2012 overseeing all aspects of the brand's growth and development. Jumpstreet currently operates 16 locations in 7 states. Mark is a graduate of Colorado State University and before joining the Jumpstreet team had an extensive career in insurance services. 


Charlie Hanna, EVP - MiniMelts


Charlie Hanna, Executive V.P. of Mini Melts of America, Inc. Charlie has been with Mini Melts Ice Cream since 2012.   He specializes in strategic growth platforms and partnerships for Mini Melts Ice Cream. Currently, he is the Chairperson for both the Associate Member Committee and Membership Committee for IATP.


Before joining the Mini Melts Team, Charlie earned his Bachelors Degree from Penn State University. After college, Charlie worked in the Insurance and Financial Services Industry for ten years.

Joe Hassinger - Galloway Law Firm


Joe Hassinger is a director of the Galloway law firm, which is based in New Orleans, with offices throughout Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and Missouri. Galloway just opened its newest office here in Ft. Lauderdale. Joe has been defending the amusement, recreation and leisure industry for 25 years. Darren Hedges, Owner and Co-Founder - AirHop


Darren traded financial markets in London for 20 years before opening one of the first trampoline parks in the UK in June 2014. He and his business partner now have seven parks spread across the UK, Sweden, and Germany. He sat on the board of the IATP in the US and was one of the founding members of the UK subcommittee.


Jon Heshka, VP of Education and Quality Management - APEX Active Entertainment Group

Jon Heshka bridges the real world of extreme sports risk management with the rigor of academia. Jon is the VP of Education and Quality Management with APEX Active Entertainment Group in Canada. He is also an associate professor at Thompson Rivers University teaching in both the law school and the adventure studies department. Jon was Associate Dean of Law at TRU from 2013-2017.

His experience and expertise in extreme sport and risk are wide-ranging. Jon has five degrees, trained and coordinated search and rescue fulltime from 1992-99 in British Columbia and has done mountain rescues above 15000 feet on three continents. Jon has climbed and led expeditions from Alaska to Argentina and many points in-between. He managed Petzl America’s professional/industrial division for three years and has been at the university for 16 years.

Jon has written a textbook which represents the next generation of thinking about risk and adventure, four book chapters including one on the legal issues in extreme sport and another on the legal context for outdoor recreation, and more than 60 articles, in addition to presenting at 30+ conferences worldwide including the World Association for Sport Management Conference, Sports & Recreation Law Association Conference, and the British Association for Sport and Law Conference. He has also worked as an expert witness in Canada, the United States, and Europe in matters relating to adventure sports risk management.


Jim Howell, President and Co-Owner - Perky's Pizza 


Jim is a veteran foodservice executive, with years of experience in every phase of foodservice development, operations, marketing, management, and ownership. He started his career in pizza with Domino’s Pizza domestically and concluded with them by living in France for five years to open and develop the brand in Europe. Then with the bagel craze in full swing, he bought the franchise rights to Bruegger’s Bagels in Cincinnati. He opened 13 locations, which were eventually bought out. From there, he moved to Italy to open a chain of pizza delivery stores. He was part of the ownership group that developed the Tipico Pizza Chain. It grew to 45 locations, and then he sold his shares and returned to the USA. Jim is the President and co-owner of Perky’s Pizza and co-founder of John Daly Pizza. He has been at Perky’s Pizza since 1999. He has overseen the expansion and re-branding of Perky’s Pizza to position it as the premiere pizza company in non-traditional venues. He has worked with owners and managers in almost every conceivable venue and in more than 20 countries.



Phillip Howell, President & CEO - Best American Trampolines


Phillip Howell is the President and CEO of Best American Trampolines/Best American Amusement Group. He proudly served as a founding IATP board member from 2012-2016. He has also contributed to the evolution of the trampoline park industry by providing innovative park designs and cutting-edge attractions that have transformed trampoline parks to entertainment centers that encourage healthy fun for the whole family.

Sherry Howell - CenterEdge 


Sherry Howell serves as the Brand Engagement Director for CenterEdge Software where she works tirelessly as a client advocate and provides valuable content and tools to help improve the day-to-day business of CenterEdge clients.  She has trained and coached teachers, trainers, and family entertainment center teams both in the US and internationally since 2008 in areas such as sales, guest service, training and adult learning, leadership and more. She has also spoken at IAAPA, IATP, IATP UK, Euro Attractions Show (EAS) and several regional educational seminars in varied entertainment and amusement industries.


Bob Ito - TAAG 


Bob began his career as a World History teacher and Boys Gymnastics Coach in Illinois at a suburban high school. He started one of the largest children’s competitive and recreation programs in the USA for the Wilmette Park District. Bob has published two books on gymnastics and tumbling and served as the Head Coach for the University of Washington Women’s Gymnastics Team from 1980 to 1990. He is an expert witness in gymnastics injury cases and has owned and operated private gymnastics clubs.


Mike Jacki - TAAG 


Experienced and seasoned professional with extensive background in marketing, management, administration, risk management, and leadership. Years of active experience in business and marketing strategies, sponsorship sales, licenses, program development and creation, contracts and partnership creation and negotiations.  Served as the chief executive at two major sports national governing organizations, USA Gymnastics and USA Ski & Snowboard. Years of experience in Olympic sports management and development.  Currently the Senior Advisor to the International Cheer Union, former Secretary General of the International Skateboarding Federation and Special Advisor to the International Parkour Federation.  Founding partner of “TAAG,” (Trampoline Adventures and Advisory Group) to promote safety and risk management in the Trampoline Park Industry.  Creative, energetic, open-minded and enthusiastic - a team builder.  Have worked with many of the worlds largest corporations including McDonald’s, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Red Bull, Target, Apple, GoPro, Kraft, Oscar Meyer, IMG, Octagon, P&G, DOW, Chrysler, VISA, Gillette and many others. 


Chris Jackson, President & Managing Partner - GCommerce 


Chris is the President & Managing Partner of GCommerce, a hospitality-focused digital marketing agency that thinks a little differently than other agencies. GCommerce achieves dramatic results by specifically tailoring the strategic approach based on their clients’ needs and advantages.  GCommerce’s well thought out strategies draw their strength from the synergy of multiple disciplines working in concert and guided by an overlying strategy to drive revenue at the lowest cost per acquisition through effective and efficient marketing. He brings more than 25 years of digital marketing and hospitality operations experience, with the last 15 years spent with GCommerce.

Chris is a recognized digital marketing strategist, and industry thought leader. Chris shares his industry visions and marketing strategies as a speaker and moderator at numerous industry events. He is known as one of the industry's recognized disrupters via a monthly Hotels Magazine byline, and as a judge of the annual Hotel Social Awards and HSMAI Adrian Awards, to name a few.

Chris brings a unique and sometimes controversial perspective to the conversations through challenging traditional thinking. He understands the challenges many hospitality owners and operators face from his extensive background in hotel operations as a General Manager of numerous upscale hotels and resorts, before joining GCommerce. His combined experience of operations and digital marketing allows him to effectively apply a marketing strategy to overcome pressing industry and property level challenges.  

Barry Jenkins - IATP Board Member 


Owner, operator, designer and consultant of multiple Trampoline Parks. With a construction background, Barry started building and designing in 2011, and has been an active member with ASTM and is a founding member of IATP. 


Suzy Wolfe Jewell, VP - Trampolines Unlimited


Suzanne Wolfe Jewell has been involved in gymnastics and trampolining as a gymnast, coach and gym owner since 1974, and is a Professional member of USA Gymnastics. Her knowledge of what children and teens find fun, combined with her knowledge of safety and equipment enables her to create functional layouts and innovations for Trampolines Unlimited, Inc. as their Senior Designer.


Suzanne is also the Risk Management lead, authoring multiple manuals and running “Spring Training” boot camps for new TUI trampoline park owners, supervisors, and staff, teaching them about all aspects of running top-notch, fewer risk facilities. Suzanne also works with their local Emergency Medical Responders and staff on emergency actions plans which include foam pit, airbag, and trampoline extraction drills.


She operates a trampoline park in Santa Barbara, California called Cloud 10 Jump Club, which also has a separate Trampoline & Gymnastics Training Center. This park is a Research and Development facility for her family’s core company, Trampoline Unlimited, Inc. (TUI) which designs, manufactures and installs custom trampoline parks as well as equipment for gymnastics schools and the entertainment industry since 1975. Suzanne is the Children’s Zones lead for the ASTM F2970 Trampoline Court Task Group since 2011, and the Facility OperaDons Chairperson for International Association of Trampoline Parks (IATP) for which she is a founding member. Recently Suzanne co-created the Non-Profit TAAG (Trampoline & Adventure Advisory Group), which certifies and educates supervisors and staff on safer operations and Risk Management. Suzanne’s passion for this industry, as well as creating ways for patrons to jump safer and smarter is what inspires her to bounce out of bed every day!


Wayne Jewell, President & CEO - Trampolines Unlimited


Wayne received a Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Northrop University in 1970 and a Master’s Degree from the Guidance & Control Department of Stanford University in 1976.  As Senior Research Engineer for a cutting-edge aerospace company, he managed many multi-million dollar projects for the US Navy, NASA, and private contractors.  His primary fields of expertise include developing math models of complex dynamic systems and all facets of real-time, pilot/vehicle simulation. 

Wayne has been bouncing on trampolines for over 50 years!  He competed in both gymnastics and diving and used the trampoline as a training tool for both of these sports.  His passion for the sport and his desire to remain in touch with the gymnastics & trampoline community led him to create Trampolines Unlimited in 1975.

Bringing a truly unique combination of passion and skill in the fields of engineering and trampolines, Wayne was able to deliver a series of innovations to the industry, including the open-ended tumbling trampoline in 1981 (aka Rocket-Track) and a low-impact vaulting board (aka Air-O-Board) in 1995.  Wayne jumped at the opportunity to design his first trampoline park in 2007 and had introduced a steady stream of industry-leading innovations and designs, which has positioned TUI as a leading player in the trampoline park industry.

Wayne helped with the development of the ASTM Standard for Trampoline Parks (F-2970) and is a founding member of the IATP.


Jeffrey W. Johnson, Founder - The Johnson Law Group


Jeffrey W. Johnson is the founder of the Johnson Law Group. Mr. Johnson is rated AV by Martindale.  He is the current President of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association (FDLA).  

For the last several years, he has been a Board of Director of the International Amusement and Leisure Defense Association (IALDA).  


He has extensive litigation and jury trial experience in the areas of general tort liability.  He has defended actions involving wrongful death, personal injury, premises liability, product liability, auto and commercial transportation liability, and construction defect related claims since 1987. Mr. Johnson’s experience includes jury trials for the amusement industry, restaurant and retail industry, and auto and commercial transportation industry.


Mr. Johnson is admitted to practice before The Florida Bar.  He is an active member of the Defense Research Institute (DRI); Council for Litigation Management (CLM);  International Association of Amusement and Parks and Attractions (IAAPA); Trucking Industry Defense Association (TIDA); Transportation Lawyers Association (TLA); Housing Authorities Insurance Group (HAI); National Restaurant and Retail Defense Association (NRRDA); Palm Beach County Bar Association and the Broward County Bar Association.  He has spoken at conferences throughout the United States. He currently represents one of the largest privately owned amusement company in the United States in their litigation throughout the State of Florida.


He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Tulane University and his Juris doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law. He is admitted to practice in all trial and appellate courts in the State of Florida, as well as the U.S. District Court (Southern and Middle Districts of Florida)


Chris Kettmann, Director of Franchise Operations - Sky High 


Chris Kettmann has been deeply involved in the trampoline park industry, working for Sky High since January 2009. Since then he has helped open, build, and train over 17 parks. As Director of Franchise Operations, Chris works directly with franchisees to ensure their POS needs are met and that operational standards and training are upheld through the company.

Armando Lanuti, President - Creative Works 


Armando has more than 15 years of experience in the entertainment industry, including operations, consulting, marketing, product development, and sales management. He has a unique perspective, having worked as both an operator and a vendor. This perspective allows him to help facility owners grow their businesses and differentiate themselves from competitors. Armando is a huge technology geek, an avid consumer of audiobooks, and he’s always looking for ways to inspire his team.


Case Lawrence, CEO - CircusTrix
Case is the Founder and CEO of CircusTrix. CircusTrix has raised over $300 million of investment capital from Peery Partners, Palladium Equity, and others.
Case has been featured in Forbes, Inc. Magazine and other publications as a pioneer in Active Recreation; and a leading innovator in Marketing to Millennials. In 2017, Case was named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year. In 2018, Case was named Executive of the Year by BusinessQ Magazine.
Case received a JD from Duke Law School and a BA in American Studies from BYU. Case and his wife, Kerri, currently serve on the Presidents Leadership Council at Brigham Young University.


Elliott Levitt - BagJump 


Elliott Levitt is the Chief Operating Officer of Bagjump Action Sport, the leading supplier of Inflatable Impact Attenuation Devises (airbags). His background is rooted in the action sports industry where he spent the early years of his professional career at Bagjump working closely with athletes who used the product to train for competitions such as X Games and the Olympics. 

Mr. Levitt’s enthusiasm for creating products and attractions grew from an original product, obtainable only to elite athletes, into a large market for inflatable impact absorbing products scaled down to fit the general public’s ability levels. In 2013 Bagjump created an inflatable alternative to the foam pit, designed to mimic the impact absorbing benefits of a foam pit while eliminating the downfalls of foam. Most recently Elliott has had a heavy focus on innovating new attractions that provide the Trampoline Market with products that allow them to add in unique new attractions to increase customer attendance with a focus on providing patrons with memorable experiences at a low overall cost to the park owner. 

Mr. Levitt is currently the acting Task Group Chairman of ASTM F2461, (Design, Manufacturing, and test methodology of inflatable impact attenuation devises). He leads a sub-committee group comprised of owners, operators, manufacturers and otherwise with extensive knowledge and experience in the field, in the development and implementation process of bringing to the ballot and formalizing the F2461 standard. He has been an advocate and active contributor on behalf of the advancement of safety standards from both the design and operational standpoint of airbags via organizations such as the ASTM and is a founding member of the IATP.

Josh Liebman - Amusement Advantage 


With 13 years of experience in the Theme Parks & Attractions Industry, Joshua specializes in guest experience training, service recovery, mystery shopping, efficiency enhancements, guest feedback analysis, and quality assurance consulting.  Joshua’s expertise includes harnessing guest satisfaction and converting it to loyalty, along with recovering from some of the most complex service failure scenarios. Joshua’s role as Director of Business Development for Amusement Advantage, Inc. has enabled numerous attractions to improve how the experience they provide for their guests, turn dissatisfied guests back into loyal visitors and enhance overall business operations.


Joshua’s experience in the Attractions Industry includes 13 years of attractions operations, guest service communications, retail management, facility operations, and operational consulting.  Joshua has worked for some of the top attraction operators in the world, including, but not limited to Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, Merlin Entertainments, and Cedar Fair.  Joshua has been integral to the openings of multiple attractions in various leadership capacities.  His educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Theme Parks and Attractions Management, along with a Master’s Degree in Hospitality & Tourism, both from the University of Central Florida’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management.


Amusement Advantage was founded in 1996 and is based in Arvada, CO.  Amusement Advantage works with over 500 attractions across the US and Canada, and is the only mystery shop company that works exclusively with the Attractions Industry.  Joshua launched Amusement Advantage’s consulting division in 2015, offering a variety of new programs and services that help attractions improve their guest experience and their reputation within the industry.



Mark Oliver, VP Business Development, GCommerce 


GCommerce’s VP of Business Development, Mark Oliver brings more than ten years experience in the hotel industry and over 15 years in e-commerce and internet marketing. Mark leads the sales and business development teams and oversees the strategic growth of GCommerce’s client base. Before GCommerce, Mark held a leadership role with EveryScape where he was in charge of launching their award winning visual technology to the hospitality industry, educating the industry on its unique visual selling capabilities and managing the team sales. Before EveryScape Mark worked at NetSuite where he was on the initial corporate sales team that helped launch NetSuite’s leading integrated Web-based business software suite to large corporations.

Jeff Platt, President - Sky Zone 


Jeff Platt graduated from Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis in 2006 with a BS in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. While still in school, Platt opened up the second Sky Zone location in Chesterfield, MO. Platt has been serving as the President & CEO of Sky Zone since 2011 and has led the effort to expand Sky Zone into a global brand operating in 5 countries with over 150 locations, and $300m+ in global revenue. Wanting to connect with Team Members, Platt did a stint on Undercover Boss in 2013 as the youngest CEO to ever appear on the show. Jerry Raymond, Founder - Sky High Sports


In 2006, Jerry Raymond, along with his brother Ron, founded Sky High Sports. Since then, Sky High has grown to 15 locations across the US and has been a proven industry innovator.
Past Chairman of the IATP Jerry continues to serve on the IATP board in his role as Past Chair. Jerry is a founding member of the IATP and member of the
F24.61 Trampoline Court Task Group which wrote the ASTM worldwide trampoline park standards. 


Ed Reed, VP of Construction - JumpStreet

Ed has been involved in the indoor trampoline park industry since 2008. He is one of the founding board members of IATP and an original member of the ASTM subcommittee that developed F2970-13 for the design, manufacture, and installation of indoor trampoline parks. Ed currently serves as the Vice Chair of the ASTM Task Group. He currently serves as the IATP Secretary-Treasurer and Certification Chair. Mr. Reed worked diligently to assist in the development of IATP Service Tech Certification. He has overseen the expansion and construction of 20 Jumpstreet locations in 8 states and has been instrumental in developing policy and negotiating trampoline park regulation in several states. 


Matt Rehnstrom, VP of Sales - Extreme Engineering


After his term with the US Air Force, Matt Rehnstrom returned home to Northern California to finish his fire science degree. Through this time Matt grew a passion for both hospitality and food and beverage industries. He helped open restaurants in Northern California before transitioning his communication skills to sales. With extensive knowledge in service and hospitality, he started working for Extreme Engineering learning the manufacturing process of building and designing adventure rides. He was then quickly promoted to sales account manager overseeing sales for Extreme Engineering. For 12 years Matt has opened new emerging markets within family entertainment to include huge successes in the trampoline market with products in nearly 120 locations domestically.


Stephanie Ruby, Director of Marketing - International Association of Trampoline Parks (IATP) 

Stephanie is a digital marketing and communications specialist. She has worked with organizations ranging from Michelin Star-rated restaurant groups to U.S. Congressional races to international nonprofits, helping identify and leverage authentic brand voices across many different platforms and social media channels. She is a natural storyteller who believes that engaging, organic content builds brand loyalty by aligning perceptions and realities. She holds a B.A. from the University of Florida and is currently based in Pennsylvania


Kent Sanders, Executive Vice President - Haas & Wilkerson


Mr. Sanders has spent his entire professional career working in the commercial insurance field.  He joined  Haas & Wilkerson Agency in 2000 to establish H&W Risk Management, a claims and risk management division dedicated to serving the amusement industry’s unique needs.  H&W Risk Management is now recognized as the pre-eminent claims service and risk management providers in the indoor and outdoor amusement industry. The H&W staff of senior claims representatives includes the only NAARSO, AIMS  & AFO-certified insurance claims adjusters in the nation.


Mr.Sanders regularly presents various safety and amusement industry topics at seminars and trade shows across the country.


Russ Savrann, CEO & Co-Founder - Central Parks Management LLC.


Russell “Russ” Savrann has thirty years of business law experience focused on the hospitality industry. Half of his career was in senior management and legal positions with a national casual dining restaurant chain and with Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Russ is a founding principal of Sandman Savrann PLLC a law firm dedicated to the hospitality industry. No stranger to operations he is also a founding principal of Retro Hospitality LLC, a hotel industry management company focused on non-branded boutique hotels with a mission to introduce sustainable practices. Russ also is a co-founder of  Box-Spa,  a modular spa alternative for hotels, multi-family, marina, resort and club applications.

Dave Schaeffer, Co-Founder - House of Air

In 2010 Dave made use of his extensive background in action sports and trampoline instruction to open House of Air, an indoor trampoline park located in a historic military aircraft hanger in the Presidio of San Francisco.  Since then, House of Air has continued to be a pioneer in trampoline training and instruction and has pushed the envelope in innovative trampoline equipment.  Dave is an original member of the ASTM subcommittee on trampoline courts and a founding board member and current Chairman of the IATP.  He enjoys surfing and ice cream, but not at the same time.


Randy Seffren, Chief Fun Officer - Helium


Randy is President & Chief Fun Officer of Helium Trampoline & Indoor Adventure Parks. Helium has a strong history of innovating and testing new attractions and food & beverage offerings to help enhance the guest experience. 

Randy is also President of Adventure Attraction Associates, a key supplier of attractions & design to Trampoline & Family Entertainment Centers which includes consultation for Food & Beverage offerings.

A native of Chicago, and not a Bears fan, Randy’s background is in new product development in the fitness industry bringing more than 200 products to market on behalf of Reebok, Life Fitness and other leading commercial and consumer brands.

Luke Shaheen, Managing Partner - APEX Active Entertainment Group

Luke started working on trampoline parks in 2013 through Canada Trampoline Manufacturers, a company co-owned with his business partner.  Together they have built and own parks under the APEX brand in Western Canada. APEX Adventure Plex, located on the edge of Vancouver, is a 48,000 square foot mixed entertainment facility, with activities ranging from bubble soccer on one of the largest AirTracks in North America to high performance trampolines and ninja warrior courses.  With Canada Trampoline Manufacturers being a vertically integrated manufacturer, all of the equipment, procedures and training documents have been assembled in house by the corporate team at the APEX Active Entertainment Group, overseen by Luke and his business partner.

At Sidijk we work every day with passion on air and foam filled products for leisure, sport, and industry. Our 105 employees are based in our modern production and office facility in Heerenveen, The Netherlands. Our broad variety of products – e.g., trampoline parks, ninja courses, indoor playgrounds – are installed all over the world. Klaas is responsible for the Sales & Marketing of Sidijk. He is a customer-focused sales and marketing professional with a friendly and personable approach. He has a wide market and product knowledge and the ability to listen carefully to client requirements. /

Phil Slaggert - Slaggert Risk Management


Mr. Slaggert has 30 years of experience in the amusement and entertainment industry. In addition to serving as the IATP Education Committee Chair, Mr. Slaggert serves as a member of Mobile Midway Safety Institute, LLC. in Stuart, FL. He is instrumental in the development and implementation of industry-specific training programs for portable amusement rides, family entertainment centers, carnivals, rental companies, haunted attractions and special events.


Having served on some committees, he currently remains involved with the ASTM F-24 Committee for Amusement Rides and Devices, ASTM F-24.60 Task Group on revisions to F-2374 Industry Standard for Inflatable Amusement Devices, Task Group on Ariel Adventure Courses, Task Group on Trampoline Courses and serves

as the ASTM F-24.60 Subcommittee Secretary. In 2013 Mr. Slaggert received the ASTM F24 Award for extraordinary efforts resulting in the development of the F2970 Standard.


Ivaylo Sotirov, CEO - Walltopia Active Entertainment USA 


Ivaylo has over 12 years of experience in the Amusement sphere. He is an outdoor enthusiast and adrenaline seeker. He first entered the industry by joining Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk as a ride operator. His enthusiasm for adventure didn’t stop there. Ivaylo quickly became involved with the management of a leading manufacturing company that is a major supplier in the Amusement industry and grew from Junior Accountant to Financial Controller and ultimately CFO. Throughout the years, Ivaylo demonstrated service to the industry, continued leadership in his organization and commitment to professional training and talent development.


Ivaylo has an M.B.A. from California State University in Finance. In 2016, he decided to extend his professional experience in the industry and joined the fast-growing Active Entertainment branch of Walltopia. He is currently CEO of Walltopia Active Entertainment USA and is determined to provide the most innovative and creative solutions both in the USA and worldwide. Ivaylo’s goal is to make Walltopia Active Entertainment a reflection of Walltopia Climbing regarding market share and secure the leading position of the company in the Adventure Industry.


Greg Spittle, Chief Fun Officer - Active8


Greg Spittle has been involved in the trampoline park industry since 2013. As CEO and co-founder of Active8 Software, he has had first-hand exposure to hundreds of trampoline parks worldwide and how they operate. Greg received his undergraduate in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University and his Masters in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University before finding his passion for the trampoline park industry.


 Harry Stevens - Rugged Interactive

Harry is Rugged’s Joint-MD and Commercial Director, who joined Rugged Interactive in 2011 after a varied business career in the Leisure, IT and Advertising industries. A Spanish and Russian speaker, Harry worked in business development and operations in the UK, France, Russia, and Holland before setting up a Family Entertainment Centre in Bristol, which he still owns (although he leaves the day to day management to others!)


Together Simon and Harry have built Rugged Interactive into a fast-growing technology business which now supplies companies and individuals all around the world. Their ‘FreeStyle Duo' reaction walls, TrailBlazer climbing walls, DodgeAttack target systems and High-9 height challenges are now in well over 150 trampoline parks in 5 continents, making them arguably, the number 1 interactive technology producer in this sector.


Drew Tewksbury, Senior VP - Amusements Group 


Depth. In a word, this sums up Drew Tewksbury as a person and a professional.  His professional life has been dedicated to understanding, educating and protecting his clients.  Real life experience running festivals and fairs, working on and inspecting amusement rides and helping develop safety standards for an industry provide him with a fundamental understanding of their unique business.  A nationally certified amusement ride safety officer and ride inspector, Drew recognized early in his career that he wanted to help the amusement industry on a deeper level than just through providing exceptional insurance products.  But, what truly defines Drew is the powerful personal and unwavering relationships that he builds with his clients, colleagues and trading partners.  Simply put, when it’s two in the morning, and something has gone wrong, clients and friends all trust that he will be there to help. 


Russ Van Natta, Vice President of Sales - Creative Works 

Creative Works Vice President of Sales Russ Van Natta has worked with over 230 locations on various attractions mixes, staff cultivation and training, operating best practices, and more. Over the last ten years, he has worked as a consultant for small businesses and Fortune 500 companies alike, covering infrastructure, sales, marketing, and design. Having worked previously as an operator and now as a vendor, he holds a unique perspective on the industry. Russ is a relationship builder and finds ways to connect with operators all over the world. His goal is to help business owners grow and become more profitable.

Simon Wilkinson - Absorb 


An established leisure sector manager, Simon Wilkinson joined the UK trampoline park market at its inception in June 2014 and quickly started working with other park operators to establish what is now known as the UK Subcommittee of the International Association of Trampoline Parks (IATP). For the last two years, Simon has been a consultant to the European trampoline park industry under the brand Absorb Park Support, consulting on the design and build of over ten parks, while offering some training and support services to many more.

As a board member of the UK IATP, Simon has campaigned for safer operating standards in trampoline parks, developed a global standard for injury classification, and developed a comparative platform for park operators across the world to benchmark their injury prevention strategy outcomes.

As a serial learner, Simon has studied law with the Institute of Legal Executives (ILEX), media production, and an applied psychology degree, focussed on learning, management and influence. In his downtime, Simon is a keen skier and a respected member of the International Snowsport Instructors Association.



Sue Wilson, Director of Sales - Best American Trampolines 
Sue Wilson is the Director of Sales for Best American Trampolines.  Sue is responsible for the leadership of the Best American Trampolines sales team worldwide. She is a California State University, Long Beach graduate and brings more than twenty-five years of sales experience, eleven of which were spent in the pharmaceutical industry, to the Best American team.


Prior to joining Best American, Sue helped co-found and launch the Rockin’ Jump Franchise Group, which sold to a private equity group in 2017. The six years she devoted to Rockin’ Jump granted her the opportunity to hold a variety of positions including, the management of the original park to later setting up a call center, managing corporate sales, on-boarding new franchisees, and park design.


Aside from these roles, Sue also worked alongside Best American Trampolines from 2011 – 2017 where she developed a great working relationship.


In addition to her sales experience and expertise in the trampoline park industry, Sue is part of a select group of industry professionals, F24 Sub Task group, that have written and published safety standards through ASTM International. She has also been an active board member with the International Association of Trampoline Parks (IATP) since 2014.
